Schonowe Fire Department
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide emergency services consisting of fire protection,
search/rescue, water rescue, and time of need service calls to the residents of Rotterdam Fire District #7 and on request, to adjoining districts. We accomplish this through:
Education:
Education and experience development through state training courses, in house
training and drilling with our equipment are the focal points of the Schonowe Fire departments in preparation for any and all emergency calls that we are called to service. We develop programs and provide services that promote safety in our community that we actively support with an all volunteer force.
Protection
We strive to have a safe environment for our fire personnel, and for the people
within our Community. We deliver emergency services to those in need.
Helpful to members of the community.
Showing that we care about our lives and the lives of others, by volunteering our
time away from are families on a 24/7 basis and conducting Ourselves in a courteous and professional manor. |
